Time was a clear winner in the Business & Current A airs category due to the consistency
of its look and feel as well as its content.
Responding to a tough market, Time has shifted its focus from news to analysis. is
move has paid dividends with readership jumping 11.0% year-on-year to 293,000 in the
June 2009 Roy Morgan survey.
Audit Bureau of Circulations gures also showed a solid year-on-year increase of 6.2%
to 76,697 for the same period.
Despite cuts to its editorial team, the publication ourished because of its reliable and
credible international content, also bene tting from major global events that spiked reader
interest such as the global economic crisis, the election of US President Barack Obama and
the death of Michael Jackson, for which Time produced a special commemorative issue.
